Recently, the MPAcc Outstanding Teaching Case Organization Committee announced the results of the 2024 Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) Outstanding Teaching Case Award, with 30 teaching cases nationwide honored. The teaching case "Digital and Intelligent Transformation Driving Business Development: A Company's Innovation in Digital and Intelligent Management Accounting," co-authored by Yue Yu and Fajing Cui, faculty members of the School of Accounting, won the 2024 MPAcc Outstanding Teaching Case Award and was included in the National Database of Professional Degree Cases. So far, over 30 teaching cases from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics have been selected for the MPAcc case repository over ten consecutive sessions.
Guided by the National MPAcc Education Steering Committee and co-sponsored by multiple MPAcc training institutions, the selection of outstanding MPAcc teaching cases aims to further promote case study and case teaching in MPAcc programs and continuously improve training quality.
The School of Accounting at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics places great emphasis on case-based teaching, case research, and case development. By launching case development initiatives, it implements a "Case-Driven Four-Pronged Promotion" strategy: propelling teaching practices, energizing research activities, activating learning processes, and fortifying academic infrastructure development. Through this strategy, the school continuously advances case development, reform, and innovation, enriches its teaching case library, and further enhances graduate training quality.
