On 9 April 2025, the Department of Accounting of the School of Accounting invited Ms. Nan Shao, Director of ACCA North China Region, and Ms. Ying Tao, Director of Accounts Receivable Accounting and Compliance Department of Pfizer Business Services (Dalian) Co., Ltd. as guest speakers. They held a special teaching session on "Digital Empowerment and Industry-Education Integration" in classroom 514 of Zhiyuan Building for the class of 2023 students majoring in Accounting (International Accounting Track) of our school.
Director Ying Tao analyzed the digital transformation path of corporate finance based on Pfizer Business Services Co., Ltd.'s application of SAP intelligent system. She explained the reconstructive value of technologies such as RPA and big data analysis on financial processes through cases of corporate finance integration and intercompany transaction tracking.
Director Nan Shao systematically interpreted the ACCA digital accounting syllabus. She emphasised the training logic of core competencies such as digital security, data analysis and artificial intelligence by combining modular teaching content. She also pointed out the strategic importance of enhancing digital skills for the development of accounting careers.
By providing students with practical cases from leading companies and international certification standards, the event effectively broadened students' academic horizons. The School of Accounting will continue to promote the school-enterprise cooperation mechanism, build a digital talent training system that connects "course-certification-practice", and help students seize the development opportunities of intelligent finance.
